Spydaman

So in Chemistry were watching Spiderman. We´re supposed to be telling how the movies true and how it explains Nuclear Fusion, but Kelsey, Ashley, Hunter, and I are deciding to talk. At one point this chinese chick starts singing ¨Spydaman, Spydaman, does whatever a Spyda can¨ It was hilarious! We seriously busted out laughing. We talked through the entire movie. This was on Monday before Thanksgiving. Were finishing it today and the chinese girl sang again! It was hilarious! Then this little kid was stuck in a fire and Emily says ¨awww it looks like a little eskimo¨ hahahaah! Were going to plan a Spydaman party where we watch all the three Spiderman Movies & color spiderman coloring pages! It´s gonna be a blast! :) I can´t wait until we have the party! Anyways this is just a ramble on about how fun my Chemistry class is with all these losers! :)

Thanksgiving Break!

My favorite thing about Thanksgiving is spending time with my family and all of the good food! We always have our Thanksgiving dinner at my house. My mom cooks all the food except my grandma makes Chicken & Dumplings (they are the best) and then everybody brings something like a dessert (Uncle Brian's Choc. Pie mmm! ) haha But yeah I love Thanksgiving because I get to see all of my family. I have family from Maryland that come in every year and I love spending time with them! Also, all of my little cousins come over and we end up having so much fun. Then one thing we alwyas do is draw names for Christmas. Each kids name is put into this bowl and then each kid draws a name and they bring a gift for that kid. Simple enough. The adults play Dirty Santa which is really fun to watch! They get so mean with it! haha! Right now the best thing about Thanksgiving to me seems like the Break from school! I'm so stressed out with school lately. I'm not really sure why, I just am. I mean, I have a few projcets due but That's it. Guess, it's just because their due around the same time. I'm not really sure, hmmm. But yeah I'm really pumped for this Thanksgiving Break!

My Closet!

This past weekend my dad was coming in from Wisconsin and the first thing he said to me on the phone was, "That room better be clean when I get home, or I'm going to have me a new phone." Of course he wanted my room to be clean but he wouldn't dare take my phone away... would he? Idk actually that's why I did it anyways. I wouldn't want to risk that happening! Anyways I cleaned off my entertainment center, my desk, under my bed, and the horrible CLOSET! My closet is the messiest (is that a word? it looks funny) thing in my room. When I try on my clothes to plan what I'm going to wear I always try it on and then throw it back on the bottom shelf in my closet. This is why it's so horrible to clean. I had clothes all over the place. I started by taking everything out of my closet and onto my bed. THen I sorted the clothes; jeans in a pile, shirts, sweatshirts, sweaters, etc. Then I hung it all back up in it's own little spot perfectly. That is one thing that I absolutely hate HANGING UP MY CLOTHES! Everytime I bring up clothes from downstairs being washed I throw them on the bottom shelf of my closet and if my mom brings them up for me she puts them on my bed and guess what I do? Any guesse? Throw them on the bottom shelf in my closet. Haha, but yes I always wake up trying to find something to wear and I end up saying "I don't have any clothes to wear." I will NEVER say that again after this horrible weekend of cleaning out my closet! (:

FEA State!

FEA State was on Thursday, November 12, 2009. It was really fun! Our Future Educator's Association Club just started this year, thanks to Kelsey Minto (: So we are a fairly small group. We could only take 7 people with us because we didn't quite have enough people to take a bus. We took a van instead. On the way there we cut out slips of paper for Teacher Appreciation Week. We had papers made that said "All you have done mint a lot to us" and we attached a mint to the paper and then each day of the week we put a different slip in the teacher's mailboxes with attached candy. Once we got there it was tons of fun. We went to different sessions which had different speakers and subjects they were to talk to us about. I went to a college room which had several different colleges that gave away free stuff and talked about their education programs. Then I went to a Child with Two Languages which talked about ESL students and how they feel and ways to help them learn better. The last booth I went to was the Think before you ACT. It gave alot of advice on strategies and things to do before the ACT. It was very helpful and I have a very good feeling that my score will be bumped up a few points (hopefully several) lol. Unfortunately we didn't have enough money to stay the night and participate the next day so we won't figure out the results for awhile, but hopefully our PSA (Public Service Announcement) did very well! Also, Next year we will hopefully be able to stay the night at State & possibly go to Nationals! (:

Oh & the picture goes: Stephanie Williams, Abby Thomas, Kelsey Minto, Me, Megan Hickman, Noah Tucker, and Yesica Cisneros. It was at Regionals at Western and again we were only allowed to take 7 People.

Leaves, Leaves, and more Leaves!

It's fall now, and with fall comes leaves. Well, in my yard its just not leaves it's LEAVES, and I mean LEAVES. There are tons of them. We live on a corner lot and have probably around 10 trees! My mom and I have raked the yard soooo many times already. We raked last sunday and it's just now Tuesday and our yard is covered again! It's crazy. Another thing is, our neighbors across the street complain about our leaves nonstop. They get so mad because our leaves blow from across the street to their yard. One of my neighbors has even gone to blow the leaves from his yard into the street and then up to the curb on our side. This makes my mom sooo mad! It's actually pretty rude you know? It's mother nature hello, we can't just call her up and be like "Aye yo miss nature can you chill with the leaf falling?" HAHA, we can't control when or how much our leaves fall. My dad told my mom not to worry about raking leaves anymore until he gets home for Thanksgiving. I think this will really put a smile on my neighbors faces (:

Mornings!

What all do you have to do to get ready for school in the morning?

Well, here's what my afternoons & mornings consist of.

When I get home from school, at around 3:30, I usually immediately start on homework. Either that or eat a snack and watch TV for like an hour. Depending on how much homework I have the time varies on when I take a shower. I wash my hair every other night because it is SO thick and a pain to fix. Anyways If I wash my hair and want to straighten it then I usually wash it around 5, then I give it around 3 hours to air dry. (if I blowdry it it gets huuuuuge) Sometimes it doesn't take three hours, it just depends. Then I straighten it that night before I go to bed, which usually takes about an hour. Then you see its dry by 8, then I straighten it til around 9. Then I either study for tests I have or get on the computer for about an hour. If I havent completed all of my homework that's when I do that. Then I'm hopefully in bed by 10, but that's on a good night! Other times I'm up fairly late. I swear I think I'm sleep deprived :/ haha. Then I usually get my backpack ready for the next morning. But anyways that's my nights for ya. Oh & Supper fits in whenever just depending on if my mom cooks or we go down to my Memaw's (a block away) or out to eat (rarely happens) lol.
Mornings on the other hand, don't require that much. I get up at around 6:15, the past few days when my mom woke me up I yelled and asked if I could sleep 15 more minutes and she said yes, so that helped out w/ the sleep deprivation believe it or not. Anyways when I get up in the morning I always have to pee, so I do that, haha then I brush my teeth and put contacts in (I don't sleep in those) and stuff. Then I go to my room get dressed. Then I go back to the bathroom and do my hair. If I stayed up that night straightening my hair and I took my time, then usually all I have to do is touch up the back of my hair and it looks fine. I'll either wear it up in a ponytaiL, back in a clip, part up part down, or in a headband, usually never all then way down, don't like it too much. Then If I didn't get my backpack ready then I do that. Then If I have time I update my Facebook/Myspace status (: Then I make sure I have everything lunch money, papers signed, extra stuff I need for classes, all that jazz. Then My mom and I leave around 7 because she has to be at work at 7:30. Somedays we stop at the gas station because she needs ones instead of 5's or 10's or whatever because she buys a diet mountain dew or somethign everyday at her school.
Today was a looong morning that's why I decided to blog about this! But tomorrow's friday, so it should be better (:
